Hard Drive Recovery

I am continuing to examine the logical damaged hard drive recovery and I intend to use this article for details two methods that can be used for the recovery of logical damaged hard drive recovery. There are two common techniques used to recover lost data from logical damaged hard drive recovery are the data carving and consistency check. These methods are methods based hard drive recovery software solution and while they are unable to repair or more errors, the hard drive recovery software alone can not guarantee data loss will not occur, there are2 reasons such as hard drive file recovery sharing the same allocation unit.

Data Carving

This method is a data recovery techniques, this method allows you to hard drive file recovery that do not have information on their allocation system files to be extracted by identifying sectors and clusters belonging to the file recovery. It works by looking for signatures of specific files, to do this search for areas first. The block size must be specified due to the fact that there is no a priori information, once a block size was specified when the data are dug the signature file recovery is found.

Consistency check

This method works by scanning the drive logical structure making sure it is consistent with its specifications. You can your chkdsk and fsck to try to solve these problems, but there are two problems that may occur, the consistency check can fail if the data recovery system is damaged to much, the second problem is that programsas is often the chkdsk delete file recovery that you can not recognize these files are often important user files (this would result in further loss of data).
